About Dragbet.com
DragBet is an interactive online game where you can try to guess the outcome for every FIA/UEM-championship class. We have chosen to limit ourselves to only the FIA/UEM classes. You can start betting instantly as soon as the entry list has been added to our system. But you are not allowed to see how the other users have been casting their bets until the championship has begun and all the bets have been made. Remember that racers can be added and removed from the entrylist, so it's up to you to check back before the race to avoid situations where you have for example betted on a racer as the winner, when in reality he's not even on the starting line.
You got to have good knowledge of all the classes to become the top better at DragBet. Being a little of a gambler might come in handy in situations where the noname racer wins. Such victories will be rewarded with far more points since everybody else were probably betting on the safe card.
No money is involved at DragBet. You're not betting any real money and the registration is completely free. You're competing for the honour and for the honourable title as the best European better within dragracing!
How points are earned
DragBet is based on a odds system. The more participants (in the FIA/UEM championship and DragBet) and the less who's betting on the right winner, the more points goes to the winner/winners
Example: If there are 8 racers and 15 DragBetters, 2 betted on the right racer. They will make 60 points each. But how? I'll show you.
(<number of drivers>*<number of betters>)/<number of "right-guessers"> = Points
(15x8)/2=60
And if all were guessing right they would have gotten 8 points each.
The more racers and DragBetters in the championship and the less who guesses right, the more points for the winners. So betting for the noname racer might not be as bad after all. It might be worth the risk and give you a great lots of points!
